Events

There's always something going on at our church, either a special expression of Sunday Worship, or one of the events listed below. Check out our Facebook page for up to date happenings.

Lenten Sermon Series: THE ART OF JESUS

Each Sunday, we'll explore some amazing works from various periods of art history that depict the crucifixion, death and resurrection of Jesus. The image to the left is Pablo Picasso's Crucifixion painted in 1930

Special Music Sunday, April 7, 10am

A companion to the Mendelssohn cantata presented during Lent of 2018, this year’s offering features perhaps the best-known hymn of the season, O Sacred Head, Sore Wounded. The young Mendelssohn was simultaneously trying to learn his craft by imitating the works of J.S. Bach, while also utilizing his gift for lyrical melody and beautiful harmonies. The cantata will feature an augmented group of singers, conducted by Alan Hommerding, and accompanied by a regular visitor, Robert Woodworth. This is sure to be an inspiring and lovely Sunday meditation.

Easter Sunday, April 21, 10am

Join us for a Festival Service of Worship with organ, choir, and brass followed by an Egg Hunt for the children.
